for an experienced payments leader who can set the vision and
strategy for payments. As Head of Payments, you will own the
P&L for EverHealth payments and be responsible for developing
the overall payments strategy; working cross-functionally with
marketing, sales, CX, and product to ensure we meet our growth
expectations.The Head of Payments at EverHealth will play a pivotal
role in driving the transformation of our Payments product into a
core component of our business strategy. This role is instrumental
in orchestrating the evolution of our payments offering to dominate
healthcare payments, delivering unparalleled customer experiences,
and directly contributing to the company's revenue growth strategy.
The right candidate for this will be a proven results-oriented
leader who possesses outstanding business acumen in both the SaaS /
Payments business model and also in the operations and key business
processes of SMB Healthcare businesses. In this role, you will
obsess over the optimization of our payment's revenue opportunity
at EverHealth. You will uncover opportunities to deepen our
penetration rates, increase payment volumes, and optimize our net
yield. You understand that to accomplish this, our payment solution
will need to solve real problems for our customers. So, you will
identify new features and payment workflows that will reduce
transaction friction and increase payment collection for the
Healthcare customers we serve.Responsibilities:Payment Strategy &
Operations:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for payment penetration
tailored to EverHealth's SaaS offerings and target markets. Extreme
focus on accelerating revenue growth with innovative strategies to
drive payment enablement, activation, utilization, and net take
rate.
- Oversee the development, enhancement, and management of payment
products, features, workflows, and integrations into EverHealth
systems of action. Collaborate with product management and
engineering teams to prioritize feature development and ensure
seamless integration with the platform.
- Monitor payment performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and
implement improvements to streamline processes. Track key
performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize strategy / tactics to
drive improvement in identified KPIs. Relentless focus on payments
funnel conversion from activation to take rate.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate
fraud, chargebacks, and other financial risks associated with
payment processing where EverHealth has risk exposure. Monitor
transaction data and fraud trends to proactively identify and
address potential threats.
- Stay abreast of emerging payment technologies and trends in the
US market, such as contactless payments, mobile wallets, and
real-time payment networks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and
industry standards governing payment processing in the United
States, including PCI DSS, NACHA rules, and state-level
regulations.
- Prepare and present regular metrics, reports and presentations
for the EverHealth leadership team.Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for integrated
software solutions in the EverHealth portfolio, ensuring alignment
with overall business objectives.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with payment
processors, acquiring banks, card networks, and other relevant
stakeholders in the global payments' ecosystem. In partnership with
EverCommerce payments leadership, negotiate contracts, terms, and
pricing to optimize processing costs, reduce friction, and maximize
revenue opportunities.
- Work alongside the sales team to refine tactics and incentive
structures, empowering sales representatives to effectively
articulate the unique value proposition of our payments
solution.Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional teams in a direct management or matrix
environment, including product management, sales, marketing, and
customer support, to drive successful product launches and market
adoption.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external
stakeholders on payment-related matters.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing payments team.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous
learning within the team.Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience including
leadership roles integrating and growing embedded payments in SaaS
platforms and prior P&L oversight of > $5m+ of annualized
payments net revenue.
- Experience driving payment growth in a scaled PE-backed
portfolio company.
- In-depth understanding of the payments ecosystem and how it
works with a focus on SMB.
- Deep understanding of payments technologies, fraud, risk, and
compliance.
- Strong negotiation, contracting and problem-solving
skills.
- Facilitate open dialogue and active listening, promoting a
collaborative environment where team members feel valued and
heard.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight-you
thrive on the opportunity to lead, set vision, and then execute the
plan.
- Strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to be analytical and translate analysis and insights
into actionable business plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and

globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New
Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used
to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be
based anywhere in the United States - if you're close to one of our
offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100%
remotely.Please note that you must be eligible to work without

travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to

compensation for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 USD per year
with a variable component in most US locations.Final offer amounts
are determined by multiple factors including location, local market
