Job Description:
A company is looking for a PostDoc in MethaneSAT Science.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and participate in the exploitation of MethaneSAT data,
including data quality assessment and scientific analysis
Contribute to the development of data processing methods for
MethaneSAT and MethaneAIR
Conduct research on quantitative oil and gas methane emissions data
using various measurement platforms
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
A recent Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science, Remote Sensing,
Environmental Science and Engineering, Earth System Science, or a
related field
Demonstrated research experience with remote sensing methods and/or
modeling for atmospheric applications
Experience using satellite data for methane point source detection
and quantification is preferred
Strong quantitative data analysis skills, with proficiency in
Python or similar languages
Knowledge or proficiency in geospatial data analytics and tools is
an asset
