Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter to ensure
effective risk selection and collaborate with various teams.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and approve life insurance cases within designated
authority limits
Demonstrate initiative and organizational skills while assisting
the underwriting team
Continuously seek improvements in underwriting processes and
practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Minimum of 4 years of life or health underwriting experience
Proficiency in AWD or similar systems, MS Office, and risk
assessment
Completion of at least two LOMA classes, working towards FLMI
designation is preferred
Experience with AALU Certification while pursuing FALU is
advantageous
