A company is looking for a Principal Investigator focused on computational science.



Key Responsibilities

Lead projects as Principal Investigator or co-PI for externally funded grants and contracts using data science methodologies
Oversee business and proposal development activities, including planning and writing proposals and participating in client presentations
Mentor mid- and junior-level staff in technical methods, project leadership, and professional development


Required Qualifications

Doctorate and 8 years of relevant experience in data science and at least one research domain (health, education, climate, etc.)
Proven track record of leading externally funded research projects at the intersection of data science and relevant fields
Experience developing business with clients in public health, education, climate, and ethics in AI
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists and software developers
Demonstrable record of leadership in fostering research funding and scientific excellence
