Job Title: - Sr. Specialist, Software Engineer -Job Code: 20837Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO -As the premier provider of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is looking for a candidate to develop and sustain the Counter Communications System (CCS). L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. Individuals will perform CCS system software development, design, implementation, test, configuration management, sustainment, and customer support. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle. This position is onsite located in Colorado Springs, CO and requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance. -Essential Functions: -

• Working under general oversight, provide solutions with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
• Design, develop, and test software applications for large-scale operational systems.
• Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
• May manage large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of immediate job area.
• Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area.
• Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization.Qualifications: -
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active U.S. DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI Security clearance.
• Experience developing software in Typescript and JavaScript.
• Experience with full stack web development.
• Experience with unit, integration and automated end to end testing.
• Experience with Agile software development and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience utilizing team collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Git).
• Experience developing and deploying software using a CI/CD pipeline. -Preferred Additional Skills:
• Experience developing software in Java.
• Experience with React.js and its ecosystem of tools such as Vite.js.
• Experience working on software that interfaces with hardware.
• Experience with programming in Unix/Linux environments including shell scripting.
• Excellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation). #LI-TP1 -In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $177,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
