Job Title: Systems Engineer-Astrodynamics Software (Active TS/SCI Clearance Required)Job Code: 20043Job Location: Colorado Springs, COJob Description: As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in design, development, implementation, testing and training of/for battle management systems for our warfighters. - This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. - We have a long history of innovative and exceptional performance; we have earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers.In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a system engineering role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!Essential Functions: Lead technical planning, design & generation of test data, system integration to support performance characterization activities.Possess Space Domain Awareness Mission Knowledge.Perform extensive data analysis of space domain missions through modeling and simulation activities.Experience with space tracking algorithms-kalman and batch filtering, IOD/OD, ephemeris propagation, correlation.Experience with sensor tasking of EO sensors.Ability to execute system performance assessments and develop measures to support assessments.Experience with processing of satellite imagery of space objects.Experience or training in AGI Systems Toolkit.

• Obtain Polygraph clearance.
• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.Experience working with software development teams and associated Agile development -processes.Experience with Astrodynamics Software applications.
• Experience in supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of software systems.Experience leading technical teams.Preferred Additional Skills:B.S. degree Software, Aerospace, Space Systems or other Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or -a related disciplineExperience in supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of national security space relatedExperience in national security space operations.Effective organization level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Software expereince in: STK/Astrogator/ODTK, Astrodynamics Standards, SOAP.Prior software development experience with Python or Java -problems desired.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,500- $168,500 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
