Job DescriptionHybrid OpportunityENSCO Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.The successful candidate will primarily support the Western Range (WR) Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) ISSE team, located at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), California.The Launch and Test Range Systems are critical components of space launch operations, encompassing a complex network of technologies used for tracking, telemetry, command, and control. This role demands a strong understanding of information systems security principles and practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment to ensure the security and integrity of these essential systems.Responsibilities:--- Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for the WR LTRS Accreditation Boundaries.--- Collaborate with the WR LTRS ISSE team and WR LTRS Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure the security and integrity of information systems supporting launch and test range operations--- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and support security audits to identify and mitigate potential threats--- Develop, implement, and maintain security plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with industry standards and government regulations--- Evaluate and recommend security solutions, including hardware, software, and network configurations--- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, and proactively adapt security measures to address them--- Participate in the development and delivery of security awareness training programs--- Occasional travel to VSFB, as well as potential travel to Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Florida to provide on-site support and collaborationQualifications Required (Skills)--- BA/BS degree in Computer Science OR related field OR equivalent work experience--- Minimum 5 years of specific experience in Cybersecurity Engineering or Operations--- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)--- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and to engage with management and customers.--- Analyze situations and develop a path to achieve success--- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet identified deadlines and goals--- Make decisions quickly based on available information--- Think strategically and grow business--- DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I or IAT Level II Certification--- AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENQualifications Desired--- Ability to apply technical concepts relevant to the team's work--- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices--- Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to cybersecurity threats--- Identify and solve complex cybersecurity problems--- DoD 8570.01-M, IASAE Level II#LI-AH1Division DescriptionFor more than 50 years, ENSCO has been providing leading-edge engineering, science and advanced technology solutions to governments and private industries worldwide.ENSCO prides itself in creating and applying advanced technologies for mission success.
