  • TRAVEL - RN - Tele - (634) - MC of Aurora - 7P - 7A - EXT
  • 3WEST - 64019 is located on the 3rd Floor Central Tower.
  • The unit has 17 beds and is currently recruiting.
  • The ratio is 5:1.
  • Equipment includes hardwired monitors for some beds, tele availability, and WelchAllyn vital sign monitors synced with Meditech.
  • EMR system used is Meditech.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have skills including BLS, ACLS.
    • Preferred skills include prior COVID experience and experience in Tele and/or PCU.
    • Typical procedures include BiPaP, CPAP, High Flow NC O2, and care of COVID patients.
      • Schedule Information
      • Day and Night Shifts available, ratios depending on census.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Staff will need to communicate with families to provide updates due to a no visitor policy.
        • A dedicated COVID unit that requires compassion and teamwork.
          • Additional Details
          • The unit is dedicated to COVID patients all of whom are on isolation including gowns, masks, and face/eye protection.
          • This unit does not allow visitors.
          • The role is described as very rewarding with patients being extremely thankful.
