Job Description:
The Senior Project/Technical Manager is a fully remote, part
time, on call, position to support our robust nationwide support
for a variety of Department of Defense, Department of Homeland
Security, and other Federal Agency programs. This position will
support the pursuit and execution of projects targeting a mix of
federal clients across a wide variety of technical and management
areas. The pursuit of targeted projects will include client
engagement and business development to build meaningful client
relationships to help understand and shape future requirements.
Building teams to execute projects will include internal resources
from over 30,000 Tetra Tech employees worldwide and strategic
partnerships with other companies. If you possess a proven track
record of building teams, managing projects, and understanding

in developing your own luck to achieve success.Qualifications
:
- 20+ years of experience in managing projects that could include
environmental, engineering, process improvement, operations, and
management related areas.
- Highly preferred to have "been the client". Prior experience
working for a federal agency in a leadership role is desired. Civil
servant service or active duty military experience while engaged in
project management related to operations or missions support
services is highly desired.
- Personnel with proven leadership and exceptional interpersonal
skills will be considered, provided
technical/scientific/operational background is established through
education and experience.
- General understanding of the Global Command and Control System
and/or the National Incident Management System is desired.
- Enthusiasm for some travel and satisfactory driving record with
current US issued driver license. Successful candidate will pass a
Department of Motor Vehicles background check by designated company
automobile insurance carrier.
- Be able, willing, and interested to occasionally perform some
work of field teams to stay relevant with the challenges and
nuances of field data collection.
- Proven record of building and leading teams that solve complex
problems.
- Willingness to listen, learn, and apply new skills.
- Initiative to build own career and success.Education &
Experience:--- BS degree in engineering, science, government, or
management is required. Advanced degree is preferred.--- Current,
or pursuing, registration certification as a Project Management
Professional (PMP) is preferred. Professional registration in
engineering or environmental related field is a plus.The salary
range for this position is $70 to $90 per hour. Please note that

Candidate will be required to travel to work sites and may be
exposed to varied weather conditions, including heat and cold

opportunities.Language & Communication Skills:Candidate must
fluently speak, read, and understand the English language. Accurate
record keeping (inventories, maintenance records, purchases, etc.)
is also required.Mathematical Skills:Understanding of basic
mathematic skills is required.Other Skills:Candidates must have
experience with common smartphone technology and other IT
applications as well as a willingness to become increasingly
familiar with their use, operation, and support needs of those
