Academy Christian Church of Colorado Springs, CO is looking to hire a full-time, pastoral-level, Elementary School-Age Director/Pastor for their Children's Ministries.The mission of Academy Christian Church is to "Create Christ followers who create Christ followers."The purpose of this position is to guide children and families to a life following Jesus.Summary:

• Provide oversight and leadership to the elementary school ministry to children and their families.
• Create environments where kids can place their trust in Christ and grow in relationship to Him through partnering with parents and curriculum development for Kindergarten - 5th grade.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling, & retaining of volunteers.
• Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the oversight and leadership of the Children's ministries as it pertains to elementary school-age children such as: Sunday programming, Kidz Choir, Parent/Child Baptism Class, Parent/Baby Dedication Class, Camps, Family Outreach Events, Care of volunteers, Volunteer Training Events, Classroom Upkeep, Playground Care and Upkeep, and Coordination with Lionheart Children's Academy for shared rooms.
• Work in cooperation with the Early Childhood Director for the general administration of the Children's Ministries department, shared events, resource management, budget development, and volunteer coordination.Qualified candidates should send a cover letter and resume/CV to Executive Pastor John Plastow at .
