actively interviewing for a Nursing Director to oversee the
Infection Control. Join this award-winning health system, and lead

best-in-class. The CIC Infection Control Director will join a
system of Acute Care Hospitals that offers a wide array of
inpatient and outpatient services to the region including
Cardiovascular Services and Neurosciences, Orthopedics and
Rehabilitation, Wound Care and Oncology.
Reporting to the Vice President of Quality and Service Line
Integration, this Nursing Director will lead a diverse and in-depth
Infection Control program across more than a dozen hospitals.
Serving as an influential thought leader, a change agent, and a
presence for this health system across the region, this Director
will join the team at a very exciting time.
Having added new facilities and service lines in the past couple of
years, this health system is poised to take its next step toward
integration and collaboration for patient safety and quality. The
System Director of Infection Prevention will play a large part in
that, working closely with Executive Leadership, Service Line
Administrators, and even Unit-based leadership across a wide
geographic area.
Job Responsibilities Primary among the CIC Infection Prevention
Director's duties will be developing and evaluating best practices
to control infection on a large scale. Drawing inspiration and data
from a variety of sources across the continuum of care, the
Director take oversight of the design, implementation, and constant
evaluation of data relating to infectious and communicable
diseases. This not only includes internal statistical data, but
also published literature regarding TJC, Department of Public
Health (DPH), OSHA, NHSN, and Community Epidemiology for the
nation.
Another important part of the Director's role will be serving as an
educator, mentor, and leader for implementing this strategies and
best practices across this Health System. You won't have any direct
reports, but you'll have a large number of hospital-based leaders
depending on your guidance and knowledge in Infection Control and
Prevention.
