SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

We are seeking a perceptive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Construction Manager. You will need to be comfortable balancing multiple projects in different stages of construction simultaneously. This full-time position involves delivering clean and complete remodeling and construction projects. The role includes both office and field work, typically with a hands-off approach, visiting multiple job sites throughout the greater Colorado Springs region.

As the Construction Manager, you will oversee contractors, ensure that standards are met, assist with project planning and preparation, make decisive and quick decisions without sacrificing quality, and coordinate the maintenance of primarily single-family residential homes. You will be expected to maintain good standing relationships with the contractors and vendors in which you are involved. Since this is an intra-company position, there are no sales responsibilities and no dealings with difficult clients. Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
--- Construction/remodeling/landscaping planning, drawings, measurements
--- Contractor coordination and scheduling
--- Contractor status checks; progress, quality, timeliness, and punch lists
--- Project planning meetings, scope of work development, reporting, and team updates
--- Property wellness checks and inspections
--- Materials sourcing/selection/coordination
--- Problem solving and time management
--- Obtaining quotes and budgeting estimation
--- Light handyman work (securing properties, addressing emergencies, minor temporary repairs)

Qualifications:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
--- 3+ years of experience with residential construction/remodeling knowledge
--- High school diploma or equivalent
--- Safely operate hand and power tools.
--- Valid Driver's License and a good driver
--- Ability to pass drug screening test
--- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and lift up to 60 pounds.
--- Competent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
--- Familiarity with the greater Colorado Springs area is a plus.
--- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
