Banning Lewis Academy - High School Head Cheer CoachBanning Lewis Preparatory Academy is looking to hire a High School Head Cheer Coach. Hiring will be based on the best fit for the program and coaching experience. We are looking to hire an experienced coach that can bring in new ideas but also adapt to our established culture. Off-season duties would start immediately upon hiring.The High School Head Cheer Coach is responsible for supporting the team throughout the season.Responsibilities:

• Teamwork and team building or management
• Understanding nutrition, anatomy and physiology
• Organization and administration
• Communication and listening
• Interpersonal relationships
• Mentoring and motivating
• Planning and project management
• Being assertive and professional
• Stress managementPerformance Expectations:
  • Works cooperatively with the coaching staff and team members
  • Acts in accordance with directives from the Administrator (or designee)
  • Contributes to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standardsQualifications:
    • At least 3 years of high school varsity or college coaching experience
    • Ability to be an exemplary role model on and off the field
    • Ability to lead a large group of athletes
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Basic knowledge of football and implementation of skills, drills
    • Availability to commit to all in-season and off-season dutiesCompensation and Benefits:
